Dandy Burger
About This Spot
Stepping into Dandy Burger feels like arriving at a well-loved neighborhood spot where the pace slows just enough to savor simple pleasures. Nestled along SE Monmouth Cutoff Road in Dallas, Oregon, this modest American hamburger joint exudes a warm, unpretentious charm. It’s the kind of place where familiar aromas of sizzling patties and freshly cut fries beckon you before you even take a seat.
The atmosphere here strikes a balance between casual ease and a hum of friendly energy—a steady flow of locals and visitors alike, drawn by the promise of well-crafted, no-frills burgers. The team moves with a quiet efficiency, hustling behind the scenes but never losing the human touch that makes the experience feel personal.
Here, the menu doesn’t overwhelm; it invites you to settle in with classics done thoughtfully. The burgers carry a freshness that recalls backyard cookouts—a harmony of juicy patties, melty cheese, and crunchy onions that never feel overdone. Side dishes like golden onion rings and perfectly salted fries complement the main offering with just the right amount of nostalgia. Beyond burgers, options like a pastrami sandwich reveal a broader nod to comfort food, always delivered with careful attention despite the bustling setting.
There’s a quiet confidence in the way the food arrives: no rush, but no lingering either. It’s a welcome pause where conversations come easy and small moments—like watching a hand pressed patty flip, or catching a smile from the person taking your order—make all the difference.
For anyone seeking an honest, grounded taste of American classics in a relaxed, sincere environment, Dandy Burger stands as a quietly compelling destination. It’s a spot that invites return visits not for the spectacle, but for the comforting reassurance of a well-made burger shared among good company.

By far.. hands down... the absolute best burger joint around. I've tried so many burger joints up, and down the west coast, on out to New Mexico, and this one comes out shining on top. Where do I start. The burger. It was delicious. Not some grease dripping sloppy McWhatever. We're talking; burger so good you wanna slap yo..err... it tasted like a good old fashioned backyard burger. And those Onion rings. Where on earth did they come from? Made by the hands of an angel, delivered hot and fresh to my car window. This place needs more coverage. Because the food is above and beyond. And the service was excellent. Don't hesitate to stop on in. This place is legit.

Best burger joint in town! No other place comes close. Burgers and fries are amazing! They also have plenty of other options to enjoy, including milkshakes!

My first time there today cuz I've heard only good things in that cheeseburger with bacon on it and grilled onions was amazing. I wish I got one years ago. It's the only place and I want to get a cheeseburger with bacon on it from now on. That was good. Thank you guys! You're awesome! And the girl that was running it. She was by herself and she was amazing

My 1st time visiting this hamburger shack , I ordered a pastrami sandwich combo . I'm surprised that it was very affordable. The cook/ waitress was very professional . The sandwich was nice and hot. The fries were hot with the right amount of salt . I see myself going back to that burger shack to try something different for lunch .

I’m a big fan of a pastrami burger and this one really hit the spot. The burger was fresh, hot, and the American cheese I got was very melty. The fry sauce is also great. You might wait a bit here, especially if there’s a line of cars, but you can tell they really hustle and it’ll be great food once you get it.

The food alone is great, but then the workers make it better. It really might be the best burgers in Dallas. It's really fresh and super cheap (compared to prices today.) Really everyone.. try it for yourself. If there's a line, be patient, it's worth it.

I like the large fry. It's worth the money. 5 dollars for a lunch bag full of crinkle cut fries. They include homemade fry sauce in little plastic portioned cups. Sprinkle some Lawry's seasoning salt on them for flavour. The fries are cooked to order, so If I want them cooked a little longer for extra crispness, they gladly do it. They even include extra sauce for no charge. Very nice people, the owner is super pleasant, and there food is tasty. I recommend dropping in. There prices are very competitive, and affordable. I will keep going back.
